Hey content strategists, September in the Storytelling Systems membership was all about content modeling for headless CMS. We learned the difference between domain and content modeling, practiced designing our own content models, learned to use entity-relationship diagrams in Miro, and played around in Contentful's sandbox for creating content types. If you want to see an example from the class, I posted a content model for a "Pop Music" digital experience on Linkedin. In October, we're turning our attention to the popular topic of UX Writing! We begin with UX Writing Foundations on Thursday, October 10th @ 11am CST. It's not too late to join us! If you sign up to become a member today, you can still make it to Thursday's class. You have two options for participating: Join live, or watch the recordings and contribute asynchronously in Miro and Slack. Both are good ways to learn. My plan for Thursday is to spend the first half giving a lecture-style teaching presentation, and the second half conducting an interactive workshop. Members tell me the interactive workshops are their favorite part, so it should be a fun time. Take care, –Matt

I landed a role as a Senior Content Strategist at T3, one of Austin’s hottest advertising agencies. Thanks to lucky timing and a skilled manager, it turned out to be an incredible growth experience for me. The brand has since been retired, but at...
